# Map Poster Maker > Make a print-ready map poster of any place from OpenStreetMap data, free and without signing in. > https://poster-map.skillsafe.ai/ ## What it does - Find a place by name (Nominatim search), paste coordinates or a map link, use the device location, or open your own OpenStreetMap export (.osm XML, Overpass JSON or GeoJSON). - Loads streets (by road class), paths, railways, rivers, lakes, sea (built from coastlines), parks, woods, beaches, squares and every building for a radius of 200 m to 2 km. - Draws the poster in the browser as SVG: circle, square, hexagon, rounded square or full-frame map; eight colour themes (Linen, Noir, Blueprint, Terracotta, Mint, Ink, Dusk, Forest) with per-layer colour overrides; street weight; layer toggles; title, subtitle and coordinates. - Paper sizes: A4, A3, A2, 50 x 70 cm, 30 x 40 cm, US Letter, 11 x 17 in, square 30 x 30 cm, A3 landscape and phone wallpaper. - Downloads: PNG at 150 or 300 dpi (print resolution written into the file) and SVG at the paper's physical size in millimetres. - Five bundled example areas (Venice, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and others) load instantly. - A shareable link restores the place and the style. ## Data and licence Map data (c) OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). The credit is printed on every poster and every export. Place search uses Nominatim; map data comes from public Overpass API servers through this app's own server function, which only builds fixed queries from a centre point and a radius. ## Cost Free. No account, no model, no credits.
